L4 is MIT licensed software. Each installation is independently operated; its operator controls accounts, content and connected providers. The official shell stores connection bookmarks on your device. The deployment service temporarily handles encrypted Cloudflare credentials and removes them after transfer or expiry. Infrastructure and optional provider usage are billed by those providers.
